A celebration isn’t complete without champagne. To celebrate its first birthday, a hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, is making sure you can get a glass whenever you want it.
The Kimpton Harper Hotel has partnered with Veuve Clicquot to make sure every guest has some bubbly in their hand at the touch of a button. In each room, there is an old-school rotary phone. Guests simply pick it up, ask for a bottle, and voila, the champagne is delivered to the room. It’s also delivered with signature Veuve Clicquot yellow label glassware that guests can take home with them.
“At The Harper, we like to have a bit of fun, creating personal experiences for all of our guests,” Marketing Manager Arden Dwyer told TravelAwaits. “Bubbly at the push of a button had the perfect ring to it. No puns intended, but all well played, we wanted to create an elevated room service experience for our guests to enjoy whether they are visiting for a relaxing staycation or celebrating a life event.
This isn’t just a limited time offer. The champagne service will remain as a permanent amenity. There will, however, be different champagne partners throughout the year.
“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with guests reaching out to ensure they get a room with the golden champagne button,” says Dwyer. “All guest rooms have been equipped with a champagne button to deliver on all champagne emergencies during our guests’ stay. Our guests also joke about having us come to install a champagne phone in their personal homes.”
The Kimpton Harper Hotel
Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, the historic hotel is located in a landmark built in 1921. It was once the tallest building in the city.
The lobby, located on the 24th floor, also houses Refinery 714, the penthouse lounge with views of the city and the plains. The hotel’s ground floor restaurant, il Modo, is classic Italian fare with an in-house pasta program on display in the restaurant’s glass-windowed pasta-making room. Guest rooms feature handcrafted furniture and local art creating a modern and luxurious yet laid-back atmosphere.
Another unique perk, guests get complimentary access to Wag! Premium for pets. The hotel will connect you with walkers and boarding and sitting services. You can book a walk for your dog by simply leaving a key at the front desk for your dog walker.
Bikes and yoga mats are available, there’s a lobby coffee bar, daily social hour, and Bespoke luxury bath products.
