Reno-Tahoe International Airport is getting a direct link to the City of Trees this summer as Aha! Airlines is adding a nonstop flight to Boise.
The airline also announced nonstop service to Idaho Falls last month, which starts on Aug. 11. Aha! will start flights between Reno and Boise on Aug. The new Boise route is the second Idaho flight that Reno-based Aha! Is adding this summer. . 31.
“This has been the number one route that air passengers have requested since we launched Aha! Last October,” said Tim Sieber, head of parent company ExpressJet’s aha! Business unit.

The new flight was welcomed by Boise Mayor Lauren McLean.
“Connecting Boise and the greater Treasure Valley to the Reno-Tahoe area will have such a positive impact for our region,” McLean said in a statement. “Whether it means an easier trip to support our team at a Mountain West game, a quick flight for business travelers, or easy access to friends and family in the Reno area — I’m confident the nonstop service to Reno matches the needs of our community. ”
The flights between Reno-Tahoe International and Boise Airport will operate three days a week during Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Here is the schedule for the new route from each airport:
- Reno to Boise: Flights depart Reno at 5:25 pm Pacific Time and arrive in Boise at 7:45 pm Mountain Time.
- Boise to Reno: Flights depart Boise at 8:30 pm Mountain Time and arrive in Reno at 8:50 Pacific Time.
Aha! is also offering discounted fares as low as $ 39 one way for early bookers. Customers must book their flight by Aug. 15 and flights must be taken or completed by Oct. 31. Flight can be booked at the official Aha! Airlines site at https://www.flyaha.com/.
The Boise flight is one of several new routes announced by Aha !, which is short for “air-hotel-adventure.” The airline recently started service from Reno to the Santa Rosa-North Bay Area region on July 14. It also announced an extra flight on Aug. 27 for its existing service between Reno and Ontario, California, prior to Burning Man.
The new routes have helped Reno reach a record number of nonstop flights, said Stacey Sunday, Reno-Tahoe International Airport spokesperson.
“Reno-Tahoe International Airport is now up to 29 non-stop destinations, the most in our history,” Sunday said.
Aha! Currently flies to 11 cities on California, Washington, Oregon and Idaho using 50-seat Embraer ERJ145 regional jets.
