An entire fleet of forage harvesting machines will be withdrawn

While many companies have suffered from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the “specialized” companies that has gone viral has been the recall of various parts of agricultural machinery.

These raffles started small with prizes like farm 4×4 and cattle trailers and it seems that the prizes – as well as the interest of members of the farming community – have grown in tandem.

One of these raffle companies has decided to participate in the ‘universal’ raffle that was launched today, Monday, January 31st.

One lucky winner will be drawn from the raffle having won an entire fleet of forage harvesting equipment that would match or exceed the range owned by many of the agricultural contractors on the island of Ireland.

The award includes:

  • New Holland FR-9060 self propelled forage harvester;
  • JCB 414S Agri bearing;
  • New Holland T7-200;
  • New Holland T7-190;
  • New Holland TM130;
  • 2x Ken silage trailers.
  • GPM Silage Trailer.
  • New Holland mower
  • Lily 30 ft rake.

The fantastic package will be taken home by one lucky winner once all tickets have been sold out and will undoubtedly attract huge interest from members of the farming community in Ireland and beyond.

win machines

In other machine recall news, a father and son from Longford recently earned nearly €400,000 worth of machines in just eight days.

Shane Keenan and his father, John, of Abbeyshrule, started going online farming machines about a year ago in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We were at home with nowhere to go, and I guess boredom was navigating through Facebook social networking site And google browser When I saw the Lucky Day competition and Pristine tie, Shin explained Agreland.

John Keenan has worked as a contractor involved in land reclamation and site clearing projects for over 50 years.

“He’s crazy about machines and that’s what he lives for. He’s mostly run the business himself, and I’ll only work at it part-time,” Shane, who is an engineer, said.

Jackpot win

The first two windfalls for father and son happened on January 14th, when their ticket was withdrawn at around 11:00pm.

In this draw, they win a 2017 Hitachi ZX135US excavator, a 2016 John Deere 6155R, Barford’s new 3-axis lower loader and a Kane 16t half-tube tipper trailer.

Shen said they were shocked to look at the machines when it was delivered to them last week.

Then, last Sunday (January 23), the couple decided to go into another “crazy” automated draw, only to be struck by lightning twice!

This time, the Keenans won a “slurry pack” that included a 2017 John Deere 6155R, John Deere 6413, a new NC 3000S agitator and a new NC slurry carrier with its drool rod.

Shen estimated the windfall gains for the two machines ranged from €380,000 to €400,000.
