The Cheffins will team up with Ernest Doe once again to offer the timed online auction as part of the Doe Show – the UK’s largest event on agricultural machinery, construction and ground care.
The bid will take place from Tuesday, February 1 to Thursday, February 3, and the online auction continues until Monday, February 7.
Cheffins will offer a large selection of ex-show, ex-show and used machines on behalf of Ernest Doe, as well as tools, parts and accessories.
The timed online auction of more than 600 items will run in conjunction with the live event, with buyers the opportunity to view the items displayed while the auction is in progress, as well as leave bids during the bidding.
Items to be sold through auction will be significantly reduced and no buyer’s premium will be charged.
‘No fees for buyers – winning bid is what you pay for and we offer free delivery within our Doe Trade Zone for all items over £2,500 + VAT.
“This will be our 62nd Doe Show and every year it gets bigger and better – giving the auction item an exciting new dimension to display with all machinery on display and available for inspection and screens to monitor bid progress.”
Bill King, Chevens Chairman, added: “We are delighted to be working with Ernst Doe for the second year in a row.
“Last year, the pandemic put an end to live attendance at the Doe show, however, we found the online auction to be hugely successful and allowed bidders from around the world to participate in one of the most anticipated events on the machine industry calendar.
“The pleasure of this year’s format is that buyers who can attend the event will be able to see the items on display up close, as well as see the progress of the auction throughout the show.
Our team will be on site and will be able to accept bids on items and also respond to inquiries and provide support throughout the auction process.
“We will be offering some great pieces, with a range of high value machines, parts, tools and accessories at all different price points which will be set to attract both private and commercial bidders from the UK and all over the world.”
Auction highlights include a previous bid for a New Holland T8.435 Smartrac; Wide range of new and unused farming equipment from Lemken, Dalbo, Bednar and more; and a range of Case IH pre-hire tractors.
The catalog will be available via both the Cheffins and Ernest Doe websites, with the auction available to bid either via https://doeshow.ernestdoe.com or at www.cheffins.co.uk.
